TopParcel
Mobile app for TopParcel, an international document and parcel delivery service
The task:

The international delivery service TopParcel was launching a mobile app for easy parcel booking and tracking.

We received a finished design, and our team was responsible for Flutter development and publishing the app on the App Store and Google Play. The backend and API were developed in parallel: we synced with the server side, took the initiative in clarifying logic and advised on API structure and formats to simplify integration.

Development stages
  • Analysis and development planning
    Goal of the stage: study the design and API documentation, prepare the app architecture and agree on a backend integration plan.

    Team: project manager, lead developer, Flutter developer.

    We received finished design layouts and initial API documentation from the client. The backend was being developed alongside our work, so we initiated regular syncs ourselves to keep the app and server logic precisely aligned.

    During preparation we:
    – studied the business logic and main user flows;
    – advised on API structure and format to simplify integration;
    – chose Flutter as the main stack, which let us build for iOS and Android at once from a single codebase;
    – agreed on the project architecture and navigation between screens;
    – split the work into stages and set feature priorities.

    Once preparation was complete, we moved on to the app's key screens.

  • Flutter app development
    Goal of the stage: build the app's interfaces and features in Flutter, with full API integration and correct operation on iOS and Android.

    Team: project manager, lead developer, Flutter developer.
    We built all the key sections step by step, following the user journey and the design layouts. To speed up work and improve stability, we introduced staged builds with regular testing.

    During development we:
    – built all screens, including the delivery booking form, shipment tracking, rate calculator, delivery list and profile;
    – set up navigation between sections and screen states;
    – implemented interaction with the external API, including error handling and various response statuses;
    – adapted the app to different screen resolutions and devices;
    – ran preliminary testing and debugging of critical flows.

    Flutter as the main stack provided fast development, a single codebase for both platforms and simple future support.
    02
  • Completion and project handover
    Goal of the stage: fully complete the app, run final testing and hand over the finished product.

    Team: project manager, lead developer.

    At this stage we:
    – produced final builds for iOS and Android;
    – ran internal testing on devices and confirmed that all screens and business logic worked reliably;
    – handed all source code and instructions to the client;
    – provided free technical support for a month: advising on integration, fixing bugs and helping prepare the project for publication.
    03
  • Result
    We built and tested the mobile app, including full API integration with the server side. All user flows, from sign-in to booking and tracking shipments, were implemented and checked for stability.

    The work was completed on time, with high code quality and attention to detail. The client's team received a fully ready mobile product that could go to market.
